The wedding season is officially here. From mesmerizing dance performances to dreamy decors, our social media feeds are flooded with pictures and viral-worthy videos. Adding to the list is a video of an elderly man was spotted enthusiastically dancing to Bollywood chartbusters. The man can be seen grooving to the party number — Uff Teri Adaa — from the 2010 film, Karthik Calling Karthik.
A few seconds later, an old uncle took centre stage and stole the show with his killer steps. He danced to the popular wedding track Zingaat from Dhadak. The video was shared on Instagram with a caption– “We all have that one relative who dances like this.”
The video became an hit in no time. A user said, “I feel dance is just about expressing emotion, so it should not be judged. Love to see this.”
Another said, “The uncles just turned on the coolest version.” “The way they enjoyed was truly adorable,” added a person. Impressed by his entertaining dance moves, a user branded the first man as the “Indian Michael Jackson”.
“Breakdance was introduced way before,” quipped an individual. “That’s the spirit. Dance like no one is watching you,” cheered another. Another person admitted, “How good it feels if there are members like this in the family. Superb.” The video has already amassed over 1.4 million views and nearly 50,000 likes on Instagram.
Dance has been an integral part of Indian weddings. In a recent viral video, a man was captured recreating the famous song, Badtameez Dil, at his friend’s wedding. The person, named Abhinav Singla, reportedly came from the US to attend the event. He planned a surprise for his childhood buddy Shivam Chawla.
The clip opened with Abhinav entering the stage while hiding his face. Just like Ranbir Kapoor’s character Bunny from Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, the youngster announced his arrival in a filmy style before starting his performance. The video collected more than one million views on Instagram.
