A viral video shows two bikers chasing a car and throwing stones, breaking one of its windows.

A shocking case of road rage from Bhubaneswar, Odisha, has gained traction on social media recently. A video shared on X shows two men on a bike aggressively chasing a car while throwing stones at it. The alarming incident was captured by the car occupants showing how the heated situation escalated into violence. Eventually, one of the bikers ended up surrounded by a crowd and was reportedly assaulted.
The footage begins with a person inside the car recording the two bikers in pursuit. One of the men is seen holding a stone as they chase the vehicle at high speed. They initially throw the stone but miss their target. Undeterred, the bikers stop momentarily to pick up another stone before resuming the chase. This time, they manage to get dangerously close to the car and hurl the stone which breaks one of its windows.
The reason behind the confrontation remains unclear but the tension increased to a point where bystanders stepped in. The video concludes with one of the bikers seen on the ground, surrounded by a crowd of onlookers.
The caption accompanying the viral video alleges that the bikers attacked the car without any clear reason. It reads, “Road-rage kalesh (fight) between friends in car and two guys on bike (those guys on bike were throwing stones on car for no reason. Later, got good beat-up from the crowd) Bhubaneswar, Odisha.”
Since being posted online, the video gained significant attention online, racking up over one lakh views and sparking a flood of reactions.
One user suggested, ‘A possible remedy for such a situation is to reach the nearest police station as soon as possible.’
Another humourously wrote, ‘Driving on Indian roads is just like playing GTA in real life. No need to shell out Rs 50,000 for PlayStation 5!’
“Don’t know what’s wrong with these guys,” someone wrote in disbelief. Others posted remarks like, “No safety,” “Scumbags of Indian roads” and “Scary.”
In November, a road rage incident took place in Bengaluru. The issue started when a scooter rider tried to pass between a car and a pavement barrier, scratching the car in the process.

Angered by the scratch, the car driver got out and started yelling at the scooter rider. He moved closer to the rider making it seem like he might attack. However, despite his aggressive stance, the situation did not escalate into physical violence.
