Akshay Kumar is currently celebrating the success of his film Jolly LLB 3. After an extensive promotional tour, he recently appeared on The Great Indian Kapil Show. While the episode was filled with entertainment, fans particularly enjoyed a relatable joke Akshay made about his British pet dog and how everyone had “Indianised” its name.
During the episode, Kapil Sharma displayed a photo of Akshay with his pet dog on the big screen. Akshay remarked, “That’s my dog, his name is Jeeves. He’s a British dog.” Kapil quickly joked, “He must have a British passport!” Akshay added that the dog now lives with them in Mumbai. Adding to the humour, he shared that many of the Maharashtrians working at his house have affectionately renamed the dog “Jeevdya.”

One viewer recalled the dog from his film De Dana Dan and wrote, “Moolchand ji bolo.”
Another comment humorously added, “Only Maharashtrians can do this.”
