The stunt, which has amassed more than four lakh views, sparked outrage online. Many X users criticised the man for endangering his life for fleeting social media fame. One user wrote, “These days, all this has become normal, wherever you look, people are doing such foolish antics; to gain a little fame, they are risking their lives” while another said, “They should be punished.”
Some went further, blaming the “reel culture” for encouraging such acts as a user noted, “This reel culture is destroying the nation’s wellbeing. Cringe content is taking over genuine valuable content.”
Responding to the post, the official handle of Western Railway urged the user to share details of the incident. “Kindly share details of the incident for better assistance,” the post read.
