written Candidates who pass the examination will be called
UP Police Constable PST and PET is the second stage of the selection process and is conducted only for those candidates who are declared successful in the written examination. It involves two stages, first is Physical Standard Test and second is Physical Efficiency Test. Physical Standards Test checks whether the shortlisted candidates meet the required physical standards, which include height, weight and chest measurement. In this, the candidates will fulfill all the requirements of physical standard test and document verification. They will be called for physical efficiency test.
These are the physical standards
To become a constable in Uttar Pradesh Police, the height of female candidates belonging to General/Other Backward Class and Scheduled Caste category should be 152 cm. Whereas the minimum height of Scheduled Tribe women candidates should be 147 cm. Male candidates belonging to General/Other Backward Classes and Scheduled Castes should have a minimum height of 168 cms, while for male candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes the minimum height should be 160 cms. Apart from this, the chest of male candidates should be 79 cm without expansion and 84 cm with expansion. Chest of candidates belonging to reserved categories should be 77 cm without expansion and 82 cm after expansion.

Candidates found successful in document verification and physical standard test will be included in UP Police race. To pass the race, male candidates will have to run 4.8 km in 25 minutes, while female candidates will have to run 2.4 km in 14 minutes, candidates who are not able to complete their race will not be eligible.
