Apart from this, the International Finance Corporation (IFC) can also sell 3.58 crore shares. At present, Tata Sons holds 88.6 percent in Tata Capital, while IFC stakes 1.8 percent.

The size of Tata Capital IPO is estimated at 17200 crores. Reports show that through this offer, the company is planning to raise from Rs 16,500 crore to Rs 17,500 crore. It is the largest IPO ever in the financial sector. If everything went right, it will be the second largest IPO in October 2024 after Hyundai Motor India’s IPO of $ 3.3 billion (Rs 27,870 crore). The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has extended the deadline of Tata Group’s NBFC for listing its shares in the stock market.
GMP of Tata Capital IPO
Since the company has not yet told about the price band, its gray market premium (GMP) is not available at the moment. Only after the price band, its trend in its GMP will be known. In the business year 2025, Tata Capital made a profit of Rs 3,655 crore, which was Rs 3,327 crore last year. In 2025, the company’s revenue also increased to Rs 28,313 crore against 18,175 crore in 2024.
