Earthquake tremors were felt in India’s neighboring country Pakistan at 2:58 am on Tuesday i.e. April 2. According to the National Earthquake Science Center, the intensity of the earthquake was measured at 4.3 on the Richter scale. However, no information has been reported so far.

Earthquake in Pakistan is not new, because this area is quite sensitive to earthquake. Most of the Pakistan is located near the earthquake of Hindu Kush, Tibet and Himalayas, where small or big earthquakes often occur.

A day earlier felt the tremors in Myanmar

A day before this earthquake i.e. on 1 April, the tremors of two earthquakes were felt in Myanmar. The first earthquake was of 4.7 intensity, which came around IST at 4:31 pm. The epicenter of this earthquake was in the 18 km deep area of ​​Myanmar. After this, the second earthquake of 4.5 magnitude at 8:57 IST was also felt in Myanmar.

The 7.7 magnitude earthquake in Myanmar also caused huge devastation. So far more than 2,000 people have died and hundreds of people have been injured in this earthquake. Due to this earthquake, buildings fell in many major cities of Myanmar and its impact was also seen in the surrounding areas.

India helped

India has launched ‘Operation Brahma’ to provide assistance after this terrible disaster in Myanmar. Under this, India has sent 625 metric tons of humanitarian aid and disaster relief material. Six aircraft and five vessels of the Indian Air Force and the Indian Navy have sent relief material to Myanmar.

India, which always tries to provide help in its neighboring countries during natural disasters, this time also stands with Myanmar. The Indian Ministry of External Affairs (Mea) said that more assistance is being planned as per the requirement. Meanwhile, rescue operations in Myanmar continue to continue, so that the people there can get help as soon as possible and the reconstruction work can be done fast.
