Shailesh Jejurikar To become Procter & Gamble’s Next CEO: Indian Shailesh Jejurikar has been nominated as the new President and CEO of American company Proctor & Gamble (P&G). He has been nominated for the election as Director (Director) at the annual meeting of the first shareholders to be held in October. 58 -year -old Jejurikar will be the first Indian to be appointed to the top position of this company. He will replace John Molar. Jejurikar has been associated with P&G since 1989.

An Indian CEO will be for the first time in the company’s 187 years of history

It has been told by the company that Jejurikar is the first Indian in the history of 187 years of P&G who will lead the company. After this announcement, the company said that they have received the honor to serve as the CEO of P&G. He further said that – “P&G people, our operational system, innovation capacity and our brands really strengthen our confidence in value creation and sustainable development.”

MBA degree from IIM Lucknow

The company said that Jejurikar has a brilliant career of 36 years in P&G. They are part of the leadership team for the last 12 years. He is currently the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the company and takes over the profit-loss management of markets like India, West Asia, Latin America, South-East Asia, Eastern Europe and Africa. Along with this, they also oversee market operations, global business services, manufacturing, distribution, information technology and new business development.

Significantly, Shailesh Jejurkar has taken the title of MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow. His brother Rajesh Jejurikar is also posted as CEO in Mahindra & Mahindra, the country’s largest SUV manufacturer.
