UGC NET Exam Schedule: National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the subject-wise schedule of UGC NET exam for December session. There is important information for all the candidates appearing in this examination across the country that they can get complete information about the examination schedule by visiting the official website of NTA ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
UGC NET exam is conducted for JRF Fellowship, Assistant Professor and PhD admissions. This year UGC NET exam will be conducted in 85 subjects. The examination will start from January 3, 2025 and the final examination will conclude on January 16, 2025. To appear in this examination, candidates will now have to visit the official website and check the examination dates for their respective subject.

The notice issued by NTA states that this examination will be conducted for (i) award of Junior Research Fellowship and appointment as Assistant Professor, (ii) ‘appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to PhD’ and (iii) ‘ Will be conducted only for admission to Ph.D. This examination will be in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode and candidates will be examined at many examination centers across the country.
