‘Russia vowed to punish those responsible for the plane crash’, Azerbaijan claimed


Azerbaijan Plane Crash: Azerbaijan Airlines plane crashed on 25 December. Azerbaijan has held Russia responsible for this plane crash. However, in this regard, Russia has sworn that it will definitely punish those responsible for the plane crash. On Monday (December 30, 2024), the Advocate General of Azerbaijan informed that the Russian investigative agency has promised him that the culprits will be brought to justice.

Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev had demanded that Russia take responsibility for accidentally shooting down the plane that crashed in Kazakhstan. 67 passengers were traveling in the plane that met with the accident, out of which 38 people died.

Russia apologized

It has not been clarified by the Russian authorities that the plane was attacked by their air defense missile. Although Russian President Vladimir Putin has apologized to Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev, on Sunday (December 29, 2024) Aliyev accused Russia of covering up the matter. He said that Russian officials are trying to cover up this entire incident.

‘What attack came from Russia?’

According to AFP report, Azerbaijan’s Advocate General told the media, “We can clearly say that the plane was shot down by Russia. We are not saying that Russia has done this intentionally, but it has been done by them.
