Know how educated and educated Ravindra Jadeja’s wife and BJP MLA Rivaba Jadeja

Rivaba Jadeja, wife of Indian cricket team star all -rounder Ravindra Jadeja, is in a lot of headlines in politics these days. In the Gujarat assembly elections, she registered a stunning victory from Jamnagar North seat on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ticket and is now playing an active role as an MLA. But very few people know that before entering politics, a promising engineering was a student and an educated woman interested in social work.

Where did you study?

Riwaba Jadeja was born on 5 September 1990 in Gujarat. Her father Hardev Singh Solanki is a successful businessman and mother Prafullaba Solanki has been an officer in Indian Railways. Riwaba completed his schooling from Rajkot and later earned a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from System Institute of Technology and Science, Rajkot.

From the days of studies, Rivaba trend was towards technical education as well as social subjects. He participated in many social programs and made up his mind to work on issues like empowerment and education of women. This interest later took him to politics.

What was the relationship before marriage?

Rivaba and Ravindra Jadeja first met at a party. Interestingly, Rivaba was a very good friend of Ravindra’s sister Naina Jadeja. Through this friendship, Ravindra and Riwaba were identified, which soon turned into a strong relationship.

Both of them got close to each other and then got married in a private ceremony on 17 April 2017. Wedding pictures became very viral on social media and this pair was well liked across the country.

How did you come forward in politics?

Even after marriage, Rivaba did not limit her identity to Ravindra Jadeja’s wife. He stepped into politics and contested from Jamnagar North seat on BJP ticket in the 2022 Gujarat assembly elections. He got the public support and won.

Now Rivaba is active on issues like social service, women empowerment and education as an MLA. He has participated in the implementation of many government schemes and has also contributed to the work related to employment and safety for women.
