ENG vs IND: Gill confirms Bumrah will play in Lord’s Test after levelling series at Edgbaston


India skipper Shubman Gill confirmed on Sunday that star pacer Jasprit Bumrah will be returning for the third Test against England at Lord’s starting from Thursday.

Bumrah, 31, was rested for the second match here at Edgbaston to manage his workload which is going to be just three out of five Tests this summer.

But even in his absence, India romped home by 336 runs – its fourth-biggest victory margin ever and the best outside India (both by runs) – to level the five-match series 1-1.
