You must have heard the name of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). CBI investigates those cases which the police and other investigating agencies are not able to solve. It is believed that CBI is an impartial investigating agency, which is why CBI investigation is often demanded in any major case in our country. Seeing the work of CBI, many youth dream of becoming CBI officers. This way you can become a CBI officer

To become a CBI officer you will have to pass some important examinations. If you want to work on Grade-A post of CBI, then for this you will have to appear through Staff Selection Commission (SSC) and Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).UPSC) will have to pass such examinations. Whereas, if your aim is to get a job on the post of Sub Inspector in CBI, then for this you will have to pass SSC CGL exam. After passing these examinations, you get the opportunity to work as an officer in CBI.

This is qualification

To get recruited in CBI, candidates have to qualify examinations like SSC, UPSC, CGL, and there are certain prescribed eligibility for this. To become a CBI officer, a candidate must have a graduation degree from a recognized university.

If you are interested in becoming a Sub-Inspector in CBI, then your minimum age should be 20 years and maximum age should be 30 years. For Other Backward Class candidates, the maximum age for the post of Senior Inspector is 33 years, whereas for SC/ST category candidates, this limit has been fixed at 35 years. Apart from this, for male candidates, minimum height is required to be 165 cms and chest measurement is 76 cms (with expansion). The minimum height of female candidates should be 150 centimeters.

To become a CBI officer, candidates will have to participate in examinations like UPSC, SSC CGL. To get appointed to the post of Sub Inspector in Combined Graduate Level (CGL) you have to go through four stages Tier 1- Computer Based Objective Test, Tier 2- Computer Based Objective Test, Tier 3- Descriptive Written Test and Tier 4- Computer Proficiency Test (CPT). /Has to go through document verification.
