Canada again made absurd allegations against India! Fake story of Indian agents interfering in elections

Canada Media Outlet blames Indian Agents : Canada and the Canadian media are continuously making false allegations against the Indian government and Indian agents. On Tuesday (December 3), a Canadian media outlet accused Indian agents of interfering in the 2022 leadership election of the Conservative Party of Canada. At present Pierre Poilievre is the president of the Conservative Party.

Media outlets have claimed that the Conservative Party is a contender for victory in the 2025 Canadian general election by defeating the Justin Trudeau-led Liberal Party. However, people directly associated with the Conservative Party’s leadership election process have vehemently denied the claims of this Canadian news outlet.

What was claimed by quoting unknown sources?

According to a CBC News report, unnamed sources claimed to Radio-Canada that the Indian government had tried to derail Patrick Brown’s Conservative Party campaign in 2022. However, Patrick Brown has completely rejected the claim of interference in the elections. Patrick Brown is currently the mayor of Brampton.

According to CBC News, the Indian government reportedly pressured Conservative Party MP Michelle Remple Garner to withdraw her support for Patrick Brown in 2022. Interestingly, Remple Garner has also denied these allegations. Garner was co-chair of Brown’s national campaign in 2022 but resigned from her post on June 16, 2022, in the midst of the Conservative leadership election. After this she did not return to the campaign.

Pierre Polivere won the leadership election

The leadership election of the Canadian Conservatives was decisively won by Pierre Poulivre, who is the current leader of the Conservative Party. In September 2022, Poilievre won the first ballot with 68% of the vote. Earlier, Brown was disqualified by Conservative Party officials in July 2022 due to allegations of serious electoral irregularities. However, the CBC report also noted that Poilievre had no knowledge of the alleged interference by “Indian agents”.

Patrick Brown also denied the allegations

Patrick Brown issued a statement on December 2 (Monday) dismissing reports that the election result was changed due to interference.
