Bad news for iPhone lovers! Your favorite phone is going to be 3 lakhs no longer 1 lakh

Due to Donald Trump’s tariff policy, there is uproar all over the world. Especially the ongoing trade war between China and America has severely affected many things. It is being said that now its effect can also be seen on iPhone prices. Let us know why the tech experts are saying that in the coming time, the iPhone is going to be three times expensive than its current price.

What is the whole matter?

When Donald Trump implemented the reciperook tariff policy, he claimed that his new tariff policy would bring back jobs and factories in America. But tech experts believe that this can lead to a huge increase in the prices of smartphones. According to a report published on CNN, Global Technology Research Head Dan Iaves of Vedbash Securities made a shocking disclosure that if the production of iPhone starts in America, then its price can reach about $ 3,500 (about 3.5 lakh rupees), which is three times more than the current price.

Why will iPhone become expensive?

The main reason behind the expensive iPhone is the increase in production costs in the US. According to Iaves, Apple will spend around 30 billion dollars to repeat the existing supply chain in Asia in the US and it will take three years to shift only 10 percent production.

Currently, iPhone components are made in Taiwan, South Korea and China while 90 percent of iPhone assembling is in China. In such a situation, the prices of iPhone will be affected due to heavy tariffs and trade war imposed by the US on these countries. Let us tell you, due to Trump’s tariff policy, Apple’s shares have already fallen by 25 percent.
