A chilling prediction made a week before the tragic Thursday crash of London-bound Air India flight in Ahmedabad is now gripping social media users, with many stunned by its apparent accuracy.
Astrologer Sharmistha, who goes by the handle @AstroSharmistha on X (formerly Twitter) had posted on June 5, warning of a possible “plane crash” and significant turbulence in the aviation sector. The post, which went largely unnoticed then, is now being widely shared after an Indian water Dreamliner en route from Ahmedabad to London crashed on June 12.
In her post, the astrologer wrote, “Aviation sector will do better in 2025, also plane crash headlines may give us shock, predicted this two months back, check the tweet below.” She further noted that the astrological placement of Jupiter (Guru) in Mrigasira and Ardra Nakshatra would bring progress in aviation but also instability and compromised safety.
“Already a bit betterment in aviation sector started. When Jupiter will be in Gemini part of Mrigashira & Ardra with the speed of approx 6.5deg per month, aviation will flourish but safety and security will be missing,” she added.

Her most-striking statement in another post on June 5 said, “I am still holding high the prediction of plane crash”, which has now captured public attention.
“Tata will make Rafale fuselage in Hyderabad. This is just aviation expansion, ISRO will surprise the world in Space and satellite engineering, space tourism in coming two years. Predicted this last year via Nakshatra transit. I am still holding high the prediction of Plane crash,” the post read.

As word of the post spread, users began scouring her timeline. Hashtags like #ArtOfPrediction began trending, with many reacting in disbelief. One user commented, “Are the stars really deciding the path of our flights?”, while another said, “Such an accurate prediction? Now I’m starting to get scared of constellations.”

The Air India flight crash on Thursday, June 12, claimed at least 130 lives, with over 50 bodies recovered so far, said reports. The aircraft was reportedly carrying 242 passengers.
