When and how much do you get your first salary

Let us tell you that the first salary of IAS starts from here. Here the candidate is given training for 2 years, in which he gets a salary of around Rs 56 thousand per month. Mess and other expenses are deducted from this salary, which amounts to Rs 40,000 and comes into the account of an IAS. After completion of training, IAS are allotted their cadre to serve the probation period. After which an IAS is given a salary of Rs 1.5 lakh per month including all allowances.

These facilities are available

In addition to the salary, IAS officers are also given facilities which are of very high standard. After clearing UPSC, an IAS officer is given his own house to live in.  In which he is also given facilities like cooking, a gardener who takes care of the garden, a security guard who takes care of the house.  They are also given subsidy on many things like electricity, gas, water. All IAS officers get free stay in government guest houses in Delhi. Even after retirement, IAS officers get lifelong pension. And many benefits are given.
