Zomato is concerned about the health of its workers, launched ‘Captive Wellness Facility’

Zomato Wellness Facility: On one hand, controversy is still going on over L&T (Larsen & Toubro) Chairman SN Subramanian’s statement of working for 90 hours. At the same time, Zomato has taken such a step for its workers, which is being appreciated. Company CEO Deepinder Goyal gave this information. Zomato has launched a new ‘Captive Wellness Facility’, through which workers and their family members will be provided new age medical facilities like cryotherapy, red light therapy and hyperbaric oxygen therapy.

Zomato partnered with Wellness Co

Sharing a post on his official X account, he wrote, “At Zomato, we give the highest priority to the health of our team. We have an in-house mental team at our headquarters, our own big gym, our own fitness officer. We have a gender neutral parental leave policy along with period leave.

Goyal further wrote, “Recently we have partnered with Wellness Co for a captive wellness facility at our headquarters in Gurgaon. He informed that currently more than 200 people are using this new wellness facility and the number of people using it will increase further.

Recently, which statement of L&T Chairman created an uproar?

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) Chairman SN Subramanian had advocated working for 90 hours a week. In fact, in a video message to his workers, Subramanian had said that employees should work 90 hours a week (including Sundays). He was asked why L&T makes its workers work on Saturdays? To this Subramanian said, “To be honest, I am sorry that I am not able to make you work on Sunday. I would be more happy if I can make you work on Sunday, because I work on Sunday also.” He had further said, “What do you do sitting at home on a holiday? How long can you look at your wife? How long can wives look at their husbands? Go to the office and start working.”
