Noida: Police have filed a case against the women, one of whom slapped an elderly couple following a dispute over her pet dog.

Two women in a residential complex in Noida got into a heated exchange with an elderly couple during a walk with their pet dog. The altercation, which is recorded on video, escalated to the point where one of the women slapped the elderly couple. A case has since been filed against the women by Noida Police and legal proceedings are underway.
The argument reportedly began when the elderly couple asked the women to leash their dog. In the now-viral video, recorded by a fellow resident, two women can be seen arguing with the couple. A few seconds later, one of the women says, “I can do a lot of things. Aise thappad marungi na,” and then slaps the elderly woman.
The slap left residents shocked, with one man repeatedly exclaiming, “Oh my God!”
“What the hell are you doing?” asks another.
The woman didn’t stop here. The same woman then slapped the elderly man. The man behind the camera, who recorded the incident, questioned her actions, asking, “How could you hit him?” and called for help from other residents nearby who were out on a walk.

In response to the video, DCP Noida said, “Sector-113 police station is taking legal action by registering a case after receiving a complaint from the elderly person.”
In March, a dispute over a pet dog led to a violent clash between neighbours in Bihar, leaving six people injured who were rushed to a nearby hospital. The conflict started when Amarendra Giri’s dog wandered to Sunny Bharti’s doorstep, angering Sunny, who hit the dog. When Amarendra tried to discuss it, Sunny became aggressive, and the situation quickly turned violent. Both sides began fighting with sticks, stones, and other objects. Sunny later claimed his neighbor insulted him while drunk, and when he tried to defend himself, he was attacked and injured.
