Foreign Secretary Vikram Egypt: India’s Foreign Secretary Vikram Egypt said on Friday (7 February) that the US has informed India about 487 potential Indian citizens, who have been issued a removal orders.

On the issue of misconduct, Secretary Vikram Egypti said, “This is a valid issue to raise and we will continue to insist on the US authorities that there should be no misconduct with the exile. We will keep raising any case of misconduct which in our attention Action will be taken against the underlying ecosystem promoting illegal immigration.

Responding to the question raised in the Rajya Sabha about Indian citizens who were exrolled from the US, External Affairs Minister Dr. S Jaishankar said, “We know that 104 people have returned to India tomorrow.
