Why is cashew cultivation in Goa is the most beneficial? Know how you can earn millions from it

We often know Goa for beautiful beaches and tourism, but very few people know that Goa is also one of the best places in the country for cashew cultivation. The soil, weather and moisture here are considered extremely favorable for cashew plants. This is the reason why cashew is cultivated on a large scale in Goa and farmers are also earning a lot of it.

Hot and moist climate is the most important for cashew cultivation. In Goa, there is light heat and moisture throughout the year, due to which cashew plants grow rapidly and give good fruits. The red loam here, good rain balance and sea winds promote cashew growth. This is the reason that the quality of cashew in Goa is much better than the rest of the country.

How much investment and how much earn?

Cashew farming definitely makes a little investment in the beginning, but once the tree is ready, it gives fruits for 15 to 20 years every year. About 100 to 120 plants can be planted in one hectare of land. An average of 8-10 kg of cashew nut is released from a tree. Cashew price in the market ranges from 800 to 1,200 rupees per kg.

Accordingly, one hectare can be earned from one hectare from 8 to 10 lakh rupees annually, that too only from cashew nuts. If you make alcohol or juice with cashew apple coming out of the same tree, then earning can increase even more.
