Saif Ali Khan Attack: According to the police, the attacker told during interrogation that he was 12th pass and had come to Mumbai in search of a better job.
Sources also claimed that the accused was currently unemployed and had to return to Bangladesh for which he needed Rs 50,000, hence he decided to commit the theft.
Sources further said that he targeted Saif Ali Khan’s building because he noticed that there was no security at all the gates and it seemed easy to get inside.
An officer said that after committing this crime, the accused was planning to escape to Kolkata through Gitanjali Express and then from there to Bangladesh.
However, he was caught in Thane before he could execute his plan.
