Actually, the matter came into the discussion when a woman named Dr. Anushka Tiwari, who is a BDS (dental surgeon), was accused of fake hair transplant. In this clinic, the condition of a patient who treated the hair deteriorated so much that he had to be admitted to ICU. Now the police and health departments are investigating this entire matter.

This case has created many questions in the minds of common people, can any doctor transplant a hair? Can BDS, MBBS or any other degree have this surgery?
So who can do hair transplant?
Hair transplant is a cosmetic surgery, which only doctors can do the expert of this field. MBBS degree is required i.e. the doctor should be a medical graduate. After this, if the doctor has specialized in dermatology or plastic surgery, then he is eligible to transplant hair. Along with this, the doctor should also have fellowship or trend certification in which training of hair restoration technics is given.
Why BDS doctors can’t do hair transplant?
BDS i.e. Bachelor of Dental Surgery is only taught to treat problems related to teeth and mouth. No information related to hair, skin or surgery is given in their training. In such a situation, BDS Doctor Hair Transplant is considered wrong.
