The Mahashivaratri’s Mahashivaratri will be celebrated on the Chaturdashi Tithi of Phalgun Krishna i.e. 26 February. This day is very good for worshiping Lord Shiva. On this day, Shiva devotees pray and pleased God and get their blessings.

By the way, in the worship of Bholenath, different types of things or any royal ingredients are not required. God is also pleased with a lota pure water. Because worship of Shiva is very simple and ordinary.

But fruits are offered to all the gods and goddesses. If you are worshiping Lord Shiva on Mahashivaratri, then know which fruit should not be offered to God. If you offer these fruits in worship, then Bholenath can get angry.

Coconut should not be offered during worship on Shivling. Veriral is considered very auspicious in Hinduism. Usually, coconut is offered in all the puja to Manglik works. But this fruit should not be offered on the Shivling.

In this regard, Jyotishacharya Anish Vyas said that, coconut originated from sea churning and is considered to be the form of Goddess Lakshmi. Lakshmi is also the wife of Lord Vishnu. In such a situation, offering coconut to Lord Shiva means that you are offering Lakshmi to him. Therefore, coconut is not offered in the worship of Shiva.

While offering other fruits to Shiva, take special care that only offer whole things to God. Do not offer broken or chopped things to Shivji. Belpatra, vine fruit, fruit, whole rice, dhatura etc. are offered mainly in the worship of Shiva.
