When Shah Rukh wanted to wear a skirt in the film, King Khan had reacted

Shah rukh khan: Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan reminded the world of his star power in 2024. The superstar made a comeback with three big hits- Pathan, Jawan and Danki after a three-year break from the big screen. At the same time, in Waves 2025, Shah Rukh admitted that when his films do not perform well, he is disappointed, but he has never really realized defeat. Actually Shah Rukh Khan said, “A few years ago, I was sitting at home, and Karan Johar came to my house with a script. I will not tell the name of the script, but I had to be wearing a skirt in the whole film. It was really the only time when I wanted to retreat. I thought it would not happen.” Shah Rukh further said, “It was one of the old -time films in which men wore skirts. But ‘man’ wore skirts. Not a man like me!”

Shah Rukh Khan further explained how seriously he takes the failure of his films and he admitted that even after decades in the industry, it affects him. He said, “Whenever I have failed, I have doubled the feeling of failure, because I think I have disappointed many people. I feel sad to disappoint so many people around the world.”

Shah Rukh further said that he knows that fans around the world have been watching his films for enjoying and entertainment for 35 years. He said, “Because I know that these people are happy to see my films for the last 35 years and get entertainment. When a film is not successful, it seems that I have insulted the faith of my fans.”

King Khan further said, “Then I have a way. I cry in the bathroom for two days and remain unhappy and depressed, but that’s all. I never felt that ‘I have lost now’. I never felt that I can not stand back on my feet. I feel like feeling and anger, but I never give up on myself.

Shah Rukh finally said, “I repeat my own dialogue, I feel like the king of the world.”
