Chinese resident killed in Afghanistan: China, which was eyeing a treasure of $1 trillion ranging from gold to lithium in Afghanistan, has suffered a major setback. Actually, a Chinese citizen has been murdered in Takhar province of Afghanistan. The Chinese citizen worked in a mine in Afghanistan and was returning back to Talkan city after completing his work. During this time, unknown people attacked him on the way and shot him.
Apart from the Chinese citizen, an interpreter and another person were also with him. Both of them also came under fire in the attack. However, the Taliban administration has taken the interpreter into custody and he is being interrogated. However, after Pakistan and Tajikistan, tension has increased for China in Afghanistan also.
The reasons for the murder are not known yet
According to Afghan media, the reasons behind this massacre have not been known yet. Taliban security personnel have reached the spot and started searching for the attacker. At the same time, just a few days ago, a person was killed in an attack on Chinese citizens in Tajikistan. However, this incident was carried out by an attacker who had entered Tajikistan from Afghanistan.
Four other Chinese citizens were also injured in this attack. Let us tell you that Chinese citizens were working in a gold mine in Tajikistan. Interestingly, Chinese citizens are now being targeted in this entire violence-hit region and that too when China is investing billions of dollars in Afghanistan, Tajikistan and Pakistan.
