What comes after death? Is there a heaven and hell? Humanity has been plagued by such existential questions for long. The closest we have come to answering them are claims made by people who suffer near-death experiences. Although the fate of a person after they pass away is not defined, certain individuals claim to have glimpsed the afterlife and proceed to describe what they think is heaven or hell. Some believe these claims, while others are sceptical.
Similar claims have been made by a woman named Sharon Milliman who has cheated death four times.
Dodging Death
The 62-year-old’s remarkable sequence began when she was 13 years old. She recalls swimming with her mother when suddenly she began to drown. During this ordeal, she says she felt her soul rising above while her body sank below. She says she experienced neither fear nor pain. Lifeguards saved her, and she was revived after receiving CPR.
The next event happened when she Milliman was 43. Struck by lightning, she was admitted to hospital, where she again found her soul ascending to heaven while her body lay on Earth. Upon regaining consciousness, she felt disoriented.
Milliman recounts that the third instance of her “soul leaving the body” was during surgery, and the fourth was due to a medication error.
‘A Light Enveloped Me In Its Warmth’
Sharon Milliman describes her varied experiences during these incidents. She recounts a light approaching her, growing larger as it neared, eventually wrapping around her and carrying her to heaven.
She also mentions seeing pink and golden clouds, along with a golden book that bore an unfamiliar writing. Milliman says that she saw Jesus on multiple occasions. In these after-life experiences, many guides were present, and she was offered delightful food, she says.
