An IndiGo pilot recently experienced a special moment when Suryakumar Yadav, famously known as ‘SKY’ came onboard his flight. As the cricketing star met fellow fans on the journey, the pilot made a special request to him which he graciously complied. The encounter was caught on video and later shared by the pilot. The clip showing the humble nature of Suryakumar Yadav has gone viral, with fans showering appreciation on the Indian batsman.

The video featured the pilot excited as he noticed Suryakumar, the cricketer who ‘made 1.4 Indians celebrate’ after India won the T20 World Cup 2024. After Sky took his place, the air hostess offered him some refreshments with a special note. It read, “Beloved Sky, Warm welcome on our flight. It’s an honour to have you on board with us today. A small request to accept a group photo captain and crew post landing.” The sweet note brought a smile to the cricketer’s face.
After landing, SKY went up to the pilot, shook his hand and took pictures with him along with other crew members, creating a memorable moment for everyone.
