A Zomato delivery partner had an unexpected experience when he went to deliver an order. Instead of a usual drop-off, he walked into a surprise birthday celebration.
The now-viral Instagram video begins with the delivery agent taking off his jacket as someone from the group says, “Aapki branding dikhi Zomato ki,” which makes him smile.
Then one of the group members covers his eyes and leads him inside. As they walk, the delivery agent asks, “Mere liye kuch special hai kya?”, still unaware of what is about to happen.
The group then guides him into the room. Once inside, they uncover his eyes and he is met with the sound of “Happy Birthday” and a room full of strangers smiling and clapping just for him.
The gesture moves him to tears. It was his 40th birthday. The group offers him cookies and warm wishes in a truly touching moment.

Back in 2023, a similar heartwarming moment made its way online. A group of friends, while ringing in the New Year, decided to make the celebration special not just for themselves but also for the Zomato delivery agent who came to drop off their order right at midnight.
In a video shared by a user on X, the friends invited the delivery executive to join them in cutting the New Year cake, the one he had just delivered.
