In an incredible act of bravery, the dog’s owner steps in with just a wooden stick to protect his pet. He tugs at the dog’s leash to pull it back while using the stick to keep the bear at a distance. Even as the bear stands its ground, neither the man nor the dog gives up. The dog keeps barking fiercely to scare the bear while the man swings the stick.

After a tense standoff, their efforts pay off and the bear finally climbs up the tree. The video shows the dog and its owner’s courage in protecting each other.
