After Astronomer CEO Andy Bryon’s alleged affair with the company’s HR head, Kristin Cabot, was exposed at the Coldplay concert, the firm denied that any other employee was there.

Alyssa Stoddard, Astronomer’s Senior Director of People, was identified as the “super embarrassed” girl at the viral Coldplay Kiss Cam scandal, where her company’s CEO was caught on camera sharing an intimate moment with the HR head, Kristin Cabot, sparking online chatter.
However, the company clarified that Stoddard was misidentified and was not actually present at the concert when CEO Andy Bryon’s alleged affair was exposed to thousands of people. Astronomer clarified that no other employee, except Bryon and Cabot, was in the Coldplay video.
“Alyssa Stoddard was not at the event and no other employees were in the video. Andy Byron has not put out any statement, reports saying otherwise are all incorrect,” Astronomer said in a statement.
“Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding. Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability. The Board of Directors has initiated a formal investigation into this matter and we will have additional details to share very shortly.”
Who Is Alyssa Stoddard?
Alyssa Stoddard stepped into the role of Senior Director of People at Astronomer in January 2025, as per her LinkedIn profile. Her professional background includes leadership roles such as Board Member at Little Sparks Project, HR Business Partner at Proofpoint, and Manager of People Strategy at ObserveI.
In a recent development, Kristin Cabot is said to have promoted Stoddard to Vice President of People – a move also acknowledged in a LinkedIn post that surfaced online last week.
During Coldplay’s Boston gig, the band’s frontman, Chris Martin unintentionally directed attention toward Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot, caught on the jumbotron, wrapped in an intimate embrace. As the camera zoomed in, the pair quickly pulled apart and tried to avoid the spotlight — but it was too late. The video went viral almost instantly.
Soon, online sleuths uncovered more details about Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot, adding fuel to the growing rumours of a possible affair between the two Astronomer employees. It emerged that Andy Byron was married to Megan Kerrigan Byron, while Kristin Cabot had finalised a divorce just a few months earlier.
