A man from Vrindavan travelled to the Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj to participate in the ritualistic bathing. However, upon arriving at the fairgrounds, he realised his wallet, containing his money and important documents, had been stolen. Distraught and uncertain of his return home, he contemplated his options.
Faced with adversity, he chose self-reliance over desperation. Determined to overcome his challenges, he resolved to generate income. With limited resources, he successfully established a tea stall. To his astonishment, his enterprise thrived, now yielding a daily income of Rs 2,000-3,000. His earnings to date have reached a total of Rs 50,000.
The loss of his wallet unexpectedly led him to a new path in life. Now a content tea vendor, he diligently serves customers at his stall.
“I came from Vrindavan to bathe in the Maha Kumbh. When I lost my purse, I decided to sell tea here. I now work day and night, earning Rs 2,000-3,000 per day,” he said speaking to Local18.
