Time may rush forward, but a hobby keeps you young at heart. This sentiment perfectly encapsulates Rajkumar Mandal and his family from Ghogha in the Bhagalpur district of Bihar. Their distinctive hobby ensures that anyone passing by their house stops to take a picture. They have given their home such a unique identity that it can be found within minutes.
While some people are keen on purchasing cars, horses, or other items, the Mandal family’s true passion is enhancing the appearance of their home. But do you know what they did that is capturing everyone’s attention?
A Distinctive House Design
Approximately 25 kilometres from the city, heading towards Kahalgaon, you’ll come across a house near Ghogha that will make any car stop. The design on the roof of the house is truly eye-catching, especially when the clear blue sky reflects upon it, amplifying its beauty.
Rajkumar Mandal and his son Suman Kumar have created a design of a Scorpio on their rooftop. By night, it looks almost identical to the actual car, with some real car parts incorporated into the design. When the headlights and taillights are illuminated, it becomes even more impressive.
Suman explained that when their house was being constructed, they also brought a Mahindra Scorpio home, which inspired him to create something memorable. This unique feature not only gives their home a distinctive identity but also ensures the car remains part of their memories forever. The design even mirrors the exact number plate from their Scorpio.
Suman disclosed to Local 18 that it took approximately 3 months to complete the design, costing around Rs 3 lakh. He actively collaborated with the mechanic, addressing any issues that arose and ensuring everything was meticulously prepared.
