While brand collaborations and sponsored posts are a given, have you ever stumbled upon a website selling life-size cardboard cutouts of influencers? Well, believe it or not, New York City influencer Kelsey Kotzur shared that a website is making her life-size cutouts and selling them on platforms like Walmart, Etsy, eBay and Amazon – without her consent!
A few days ago, Kelsey shared a video on Instagram to break this news. The influencer even attached an image in which she can be seen posing next to her own life-size cutout. Turns out, her aunt and uncle bought it just to troll her.
“When I decided to make videos on the internet, this is the last thing I thought would happen,” Kelsey said in the clip.
Kelsey Kotzur also shared a screenshot of the website selling multiple versions of her giant cutouts. One listing, titled “Kelsey Kotzur (Jeans) Cardboard Cutout,” was even labeled a “HOT Product.” It racked up 50 views in the last 24 hours.
“Who is doing this to me?” Kelsey Kotzur questioned in the caption.
