US court gave 30 days relief to Harvard University, said- Trump avoided strict action

Donald Trump vs Harvard University: The dispute between US President Donald Trump and Harvard University now gradually grows. A US court has extended the order by the Trump administration to stop the enrollment of foreign students to Harvard University for 30 days. The court said that the Trump administration cannot expel the international students of the horror until the legal process is completed in this case.

Trump administration survived any strict action for 30 days

The Harvard University filed a case on the US Home Safety Department (DHS) after the notice was sent by the Trump administration. The university said in its petition that if the number of foreign students is limited, then 25 percent of the students of the university will be affected by this. On this, the court gave notice to the US Home Safety Department and said that it survived any strict action for the next 30 days.

‘Trump administration decided for political revenge’

The Trump government had announced the cancellation of Certification of SEVP (Student and Exchange Visitor Program) of Harvard University on 22 May 2025. If this happens, foreign students will not be able to take admission in this university. After this, Harvard University filed a petition in a Boston court, alleging that Harvard opposed some of the policies of the White House, so the Trump administration has taken this decision to take out the political revenge.

‘Violation of federal rules’

In the court, Harvard lawyers described the SEVP certification as a violation of the Federal rules without any notice. The lawyer said that the rule says that first the government should give notice and give a chance to cleanliness. The university said that it is not just a university fight, but a fight for freedom of education and diversity in America. However, given the increasing pressure on this matter, the Trump administration has indicated that it can reconsider its decision.
