UPSC released CDS II exam schedule, examination will be held on September 14, will be recruited on so many posts

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the timetable of Joint Defense Services (CDS) II Exam 2025. Those candidates who are going to be part of this prestigious examination, they can now get complete information about the schedule by visiting the official website upsc.gov.in. How many posts will be recruited?

This year, a total of 453 posts will be recruited through CDS II exam. The application process for this has been completed by 20 June 2025. Millions of candidates have registered to participate in this exam.

When will the exam be done?

According to the schedule issued by UPSC, the CDS II exam will be held on 14 September 2025 (Sunday). There will be a total of three shifts in this exam and each shift will be of two hours.

The English paper will be from 9 am to 11 am. General Knowledge (GK) paper will be taken from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm. The preliminary mathematics examination will be held from 4 pm to 6 pm. Candidates have been advised to reach their examination center ahead of time so that any inconvenience can be avoided. Through this examination, the selected candidates get an opportunity to become an officer in the Indian Armed Forces.

• Step 1: Candidates first UPSC Go to the official website of upsc.gov.in.
• Step 2: After this, the candidate click on the “What is the new” section on the homepage.
• Step 3: There will be “Examination Time Table: Combined Defense Services Exam (ii), 2025” link, click on it.
• Step 4: The candidate will now open on the PDF screen of the time table.
• Step 5: After this, download the candidate page.
• Step 6: Finally, the candidates take out the print for further needs and keep it with them.
