During the prize distribution ceremony of the firing competition held at Savar Cantonment, Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, the army chief said, ‘We thought all this would end soon and the army would return soon but it did not happen. Seeing the situation in the country, it seems that it is not going to end soon. We have to work for a long time.

‘Avoid using force’ young ‘
Addressing the program, the Bangladesh chief said, ‘We have to be patient and keep on fulfilling our professional responsibilities. It is important that we should perform our duties without joining any uncontrolled behavior. We should avoid using force while doing our duty. We should use force only when it is necessary for us to do so.

Waqar Ujan said, ‘Bangladesh Army is committed to maintain peace and security in the country. General Waqar Ujan also participated in the firing competition. During this, he was accompanied by Major General Moin Khan and General Officer Commanding (GOC) of 9th Infantry Division and many other senior army officers.

Attack on Air Force base in Bangladesh
One person was killed and several others were injured in an Air Force attack in Committee Para under the Cox Bazar Municipality of Bangladesh. A group of unknown miscreants attacked the base. After this incident, Bangladesh’s Air Force is trying to control the situation and identify the attackers. The Air Force of Bangladesh is investigating the incident.
