Unseasonal rains in Amravati have destroyed the hard work of farmers. During this, he said that the damage done to the farmers due to unseasonal rains should be immediately assessed and not a single affected farmer should be deprived of compensation. He said in clear terms that the evaluation of the loss of crops should be completed immediately and by Tuesday evening, government assistance should be delivered to all the victims. Also, due to rain, it was also said to be compensated at the earliest on the death of cattle. According to reports, the paddy and maize crops spread over 2,224 hectares have been completely destroyed. The most affected districts are- West Godavari (1,033 hectares), Nandayal (641 hectares), Kakinada (530 hectares) and Sri Satyasai (20 hectares).
