Thomas Rew will captain England Under-19 for its five-match Youth One-Day International series against India U-19.
England men’s U-19 head coach Mike Yardy said, “We’ve selected an exciting squad for the ODI series. We have players who have a variety of white-ball skills and are predominantly available for the ICC Under-19 World Cup in the winter.
“India Under-19s will provide a great challenge this summer, and it’s a great opportunity for the boys to perform as a team and individually.”
Worcestershire’s Isaac Mohammed is the only uncapped player (U-19) in the 15-player lineup. Batter Rocky Flintoff, former England star Andrew’s son, who is the youngest to score a century for the U-19 team, is also a part of the squad.
The series begins at the first Central County Ground in Hove on Friday, June 27, before matches in Northampton and Worcester.
