Apart from this, 61 percent of Indians are already struggling with diseases like diabetes, heart disease, asthma, and kidney disease, but only 49.8 percent people are worried about shingles.
How to protect against shingles?
Preventive healthcare should be given priority to avoid shingles. Experts believe that this disease can be avoided by adopting regular body test and right lifestyle. For this, people over 50 years of age are advised to take shingles vaccine.
Confidence maintained despite aging
Although awareness about shingles is low, but an interesting thing in the survey also revealed that 55.7 percent of Indians feel less than their age. 24 percent people believe that they feel at least 10 years younger. However, only 25 percent of Indians take any step to prevent diseases.
