Influencer Anish Bhagat recently shared a heartwarming story on Instagram, recalling his grandparents’ enduring love. The video posed the question, “Does love like this exist in our generation?”
Then, he narrates how his grandparent’s beautiful love life continues to embody the essence of love and companionship, despite their age. The video begins with the influencer saying, “My grandparents, the ‘IT’ couple of our family, have been married for 60 years. They are both at an age where they keep getting admitted to the hospital. This time, Dadu was admitted to the ICU.”
In a moment captured on video, Anish’s grandmother, who is also unwell, spent the entire day sitting beside him and praying for him. After weeks of waiting, his grandfather was finally coming home.
Then, the video transitions to show Anish’s dadu returning home in a car, welcomed with warmth and care, and his dadi is seen preparing food for him. The video also revealed a moment when Anish’s grandmother welcomed him with a beautiful bouquet, a warm hug, and his favourite mithai, evoking overwhelming joy.
During this, a light-hearted comment from a family member came, “Bahao phool barasao, mera mehboob aya hai.”
Anish further shares, “She has been patiently waiting for this day. We all celebrated his return.” Unable to contain her happiness, Dadi fed him with her own hands and even performed aarti.”
Watching the bond of his grandparents, Bhagat sums up, saying, “Shayad yehi pyaar hota hai. (Maybe this is true love).”
Along with the adorable video, Anish penned, “This kind of love or nothing. This day was one of those moments that felt straight out of a storybook. Watching Dadi welcome Dadu back home after his time in the hospital was nothing short of magical. Her excitement, the way she cooked his favourite meal with so much love, and the way she fed him—it’s a kind of love that feels rare these days.”
“Their bond is so pure, so simple, yet so powerful. It’s a reminder that real love isn’t in grand gestures but in the little moments of care, patience, and understanding. This reel isn’t just about Dadu’s return; it’s a celebration of a love that makes us all believe again,” he added.
