A 26-year-old man named Hayden has caught attention online after his Tinder profile went viral for an unusual reason. Despite swiping right on over two million profiles in more than five years, he has only managed to go on one date. His profile shows that he swiped right 2,020,459 times and left 38,014 times. Many agreed that his low number of dates was because of several red flags on his profile. These included fishing photos and pictures of him wearing hoodies with bad jokes printed on them. However, some admire his efforts.
The post also revealed more details from Hayden’s Tinder stats. Out of over two million swipes, he got 2053 matches and conversed with 1269 users, but still ended up going on just one date. The post also included screenshots of his profile bio, which gave people a clearer idea of why he might not be getting many dates. One part of his bio said, “If I’m not home, you can find me… at the lake.” In another photo, he wrote, “If you’re not trying to go fishing, I don’t want it. My idea of a vacation is going to the desert and looking for snakes for a week. I may or may not currently own 33 snakes.”
Reacting to the post, a user wrote, “This guy, and his profile, seems like he sucks? If he had even a remotely interesting profile, he’d be fine. Not a bad-looking guy. But you can tell he offers little in terms of personality.”
Another shared, “So you’re telling me there’s a chance?”
“At least he is true to himself. Looking for that one needle in the haystack that matches with his honest self,” a comment read.
An individual stated, “I cannot stress this enough, if you are a dude on Tinder (or any dating app), ask a female friend to choose your pictures! It was a game changer for me.”
Another mentioned, “If you swing at every ball, you’ll hit one eventually.”
One more added, “His profile says, he’s not interested unless you’re going fishing. It’s almost like he’s not even trying.”
Tinder’s data shows that men usually swipe around 137 times a day, while women’s average data is 200. But Hayden’s numbers are way above.
