Indian Community Leader in Australia: According to the report by The Australia Today News, on Friday (March 7) in Sydney, a leader of the Indian community, Balesh Dhankhar, was sentenced to 40 years in prison for giving drugs and sexual harassment to 5 women. During this sentence, the accused has been sentenced regularly for 30 years without parole. However, Dhankhar refused to give women’s intoxicating substance and have sex with someone without consent.

District judge condemns accused

According to the report, District Court Judge Michael King sentenced the accused Balesh Dhankhar and condemned his acts. He said that Balesh’s behavior was pre -planned, clever, detailed and was quite violent. He further said, “This incident was a complete planned violent order against 5 non-related young and weak women in a certain period of time.”

According to the Australian media report, the accused Balesh Dhankhar was a former IT consultant. Who used to entice fake advertisements of the job before giving the intoxicating substance of women around his Sydney house. After this, he used to do her video by sexually harassing her, so that she could get a plaser in her future.

Balesh came to Australia as a student in 2006

Balesh Dhankhar came to Australia in the year 2006 as a student, who used to present himself as a community-moody person dedicated to improve the life of another. However, in the year 2023, a jury found him guilty of 39 allegations, of which 13 were involved in sexual harassment cases.

The report said that before his arrest in 2018, Dhankar was a very respected man among the Indian-Australian community and worked as a spokesperson for the Hindu Council of Australia.
