To improve its service, a huge amount has been invested in the airport infrastructure, digital service and staff training. SVPIA is the busiest airport in Gujarat, spread over 987 acres of history of more than 80 years, which will handle 13.3 million passengers in 2024-25 and manage around 280 flights per day.
