Recently in an interview, Kabir Bedi talked about his relationship with his first wife Protima. He said- When you think about the past, you regret some things. Everyone feels like this. You wonder what you could have done differently.
Kabir said- At that time we both wanted to live together for the children. And if both of us want to have an affair somewhere else, then only one thing was good in this case and that was open marriage. You do what you want to do and I’ll do what I want to do. We both will live together and raise our children together. But in our case even open marriage did not work. This was very difficult.
‘Be a friend to children’
Kabir told that even though they separated, he was always present for the children. He said- even if we separated. We got divorced but I fulfilled all my responsibilities. I gave him my house and also supported him. We remained friends our whole lives because we had two children.
