These big changes going to be held from August 1, know how much effect it will affect your pocket?

Big Financial Changes From August 1: The month of August is going to start in the next two days. From August 1, 6 such financial changes are going to happen, which is going to affect the common man. During this time, prices ranging from change in UPI rules to fuel and cooking gas are expected to increase. Let’s see what is going to change from next month.

Changes going to be held in UPI

The National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI) is going to set a limit for UPI apps like Paytm, Phonpe and Google Pay to improve the experience of UPI users and reduce unnecessary load on apps. Under this new change, now users will not be able to check their account balance more than 50 times.

Apart from this, users will be able to see the details related to the bank account only 25 times a day. Along with this, time slots have also been fixed for auto-pay- before 10 in the morning, between 1 pm and 5 pm and after 9.30 pm. All these rules are going to apply to all UPI users.

LPG prices change

Oil marketing companies (OMCs) review the prices of both domestic and commercial cooking gas cylinders every month. Last month, the price of commercial LPG cylinders was cut by Rs 60. This has raised hope that this time the prices of domestic LPG will be reduced.

In the last few months, the prices of LPG cylinders have been seen continuously fluctuations. The government is expected to review the prices of LPG cylinders on August 1, which may affect your pocket.

CNG and PNG may increase price

CNG and PNG prices have not been changed from April 9, but their prices are likely to change from 1 August. If their prices rise, then the cost of the kitchen for movement and cooking may increase as these gases are used in auto, cab and gas pipelines.

Air travel may be expensive

The prices of Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) are likely to change from August 1. They are used in airplanes. If the ATF prices rise, the airlines can put the burden of increased cost on the passengers. This will make air tickets expensive, so keep an eye on rent while booking your air ticket in August and in the last moment, make a booking in advance to avoid the increase in fares.

Free credit card insurance going to shut down SBI

If you use State Bank of India (SBI) card and are taking advantage of free accident insurance during air travel, then there is big news for you. Since August 11, 2025, the bank is going to discontinue free air accident insurance coverage on many of its co-branded credit card variants.

Free air accident insurance cover ranging from Rs 50 lakh to Rs 1 crore was given by SBI Bank on Elite and Prime Card in partnership with many banks like UCO Bank, Central Bank, Karur Vaishya Bank and Allahabad Bank, which is now going to be closed.
