The stock market will be closed for 3 days this week, the stock market is open on Akshaya Tritiya? Learn the full list

Stock Market Holiday This Week: Usually the Indian stock market is closed on the national holiday. The market will be closed for three days between April 28 and May 4 this week, including special days like Labor Day and Maharashtra Day. The holiday in the stock market is different from banks or public holidays. Therefore, trading in the market is not due to holiday in the market on a particular day.

The stock market is closed on May 1 as Maharashtra Day is on this day. In 1960, Maharashtra separated and came into existence. Both Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE) are in Mumbai, so there is a holiday in the market on this day.
