
Milk Price Hike: After increasing the fare of Namma Metro of Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) in Karnataka, now the price of milk in the state is going to increase. The government here is thinking of increasing the price of milk by 5 rupees per liter, including many Bengaluru residents, including the general public of Karnataka.
The price will increase so much of one liter
Animal Husbandry Minister of Karnataka Kenkatesh said that due to the increasing demand of dairy farmers, milk prices will increase soon. Referring to the economic pressure on farmers in the Legislative Council on Wednesday, he said, “We are taking care of both the concerns of the farmers and the interests of consumers before implementing new rates.” He also said, the final decision will be taken after discussion with Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on the increase in the price of milk. According to the report, the price of one liter of Nandini milk can increase from Rs 44 to Rs 47.
