Telangana student murdered at petrol pump in Chicago, India takes action against culprits


Indian Student Sai Teja Nukarapu Killed: On Friday (29 November 2024) in Chicago city of America, an Indian student working at a petrol pump was shot dead. The deceased has been identified as 22-year-old Sai Teja Nukrapu, who was a resident of Telangana and worked part-time at a petrol pump along with studies. BRS leader Madhusudan Thatha gave this information.

Madhusudan Thatha said that he met the family members of the victim student at their home in Khammam district of Telangana. Family members told that Sai Teja was not on duty, but had stopped at the petrol pump to help one of his friends, when this incident happened.

Indian Consulate demanded action

The Indian Consulate in Chicago has expressed deep sorrow over this murder and demanded immediate action against the criminals. The Consulate said, “We are shocked and deeply saddened by the murder of Indian student Sai Teja. We demand immediate action against the culprits. All possible support will be provided to the family and friends.”

According to reports, Sai Teja went to America to pursue MBA after completing his graduation in India. He was working part-time at a petrol pump to earn his living.

Madhusudan Thatha also told that he has contacted the members of Telugu Association of North America (TANA) seeking help in this matter so that appropriate action can be taken against the culprits.
