
Tata Consumer Q1 Results: Consumer goods manufacturer Tata Consumer Products Limited has performed tremendously in the first quarter of the current financial year. On Wednesday, the company said that its profit increased by 14.7% to Rs 331.75 crore in the June quarter of the current financial year 2025-26. This figure was Rs 289.25 crore during the same quarter last year.
The income of Tata Group’s leading FMCG company TCPL also increased by 9.8 percent to Rs 4,778.91 crore. It was Rs 4,352.07 crore a year ago during this quarter. The company says that during the last quarter, its total expenditure increased by 10.9 percent and it increased to Rs 4,354.66 crore.
Tea and salt increased business
The company’s branded business in India jumped 11 percent to Rs 3,125.7 crore. The company’s managing director and CEO Sunil D’Souza says that in the first quarter of the financial year 2025-26, there has been a 10 percent increase in revenue with a net profit increase in the double marks. He says that during the quarter, both tea and salt areas recorded an increase of double digit in Indian business, which was possible due to increase in volume.
Increased branded business
At the international level, the company’s branded business saw a jump of 9.44 percent and it increased to Rs 1,145.20 crore. On the other hand, non-branded business, including coffee and tea plantation, bounced 7.02 percent to Rs 535.76 crore. Significantly, TCPL has performed tremendously due to the value of salt and tea business in India.
